Aqua-Lisa, chapter 5Chapter 5: Aqua-Lisa vs. Dr. Colossus
As Lisa swum forwards, she was struggling to keep her speed up. She could have also used her powers to rocket herself forwards through the water, but she wanted to save those powers for her possible confrontation with Dr. Colossus.
After reaching the international water borders, Lisa started looking for anything suspicious at the ocean bottom. However, she saw nothing.
"Darn it", she thought. "How can one underwater base hide itself so well? I better surface to see if I see the oil tanker."
Lisa surfaced and looked around. When she looked towards the coast, she saw something odd in the sky.
Lisa was both shuddering and surprised. Not only was she afraid of pigeons, she was also surprised to see them so far off coast. It wasn't even the traveling season yet.
"That's odd", Lisa thought out loud. "Pigeons don't usually fly so far out sea. Something funny is going on."
Then Lisa remembered something she had read about pigeons.
Aqua-Lisa, chapter 4Chapter 4: The Challenge of Dr. Colossus
During the following days and weeks, Lisa saved one ship after another, not to mention of several sea animals as well. Despite the fact that Professor Frink called Lisa and told that the antidote wasn't going to be ready for a while, Lisa wasn't worried. On the contrary, she was just excited to get to use her new powers for longer.
Lisa had gotten pretty skilled at using her water-controlling powers. Besides controlling water's shape and movements, she could now also use them to condense moisture from the air, freeze water, heat water, turn water or ice into vapor, and control water pressure.
She had, however, noticed one thing: the bigger amounts of water she tried to control, the more energy it consumed from her. Due to this, she wasn't trying to control too big amounts of water. Still, she was able to control pretty high amounts of water, enough big amounts to subdue any pirates or other lawbreakers she faced at seas.
Aqua-Lisa, chapter 3Chapter 3: Aqua-Lisa Strikes
On the next day, a ship was sailing somewhere near the coast of Springfield, carrying a load of coats.
"Yarrr, isn't it a beautiful day for sailing?" captain Horatio McCallister asked from the young helmsman.
"It sure is, captain", helmsman said. "We get our load to our destination in no time."
"Yes", captain said. "They must love to see us arriving to that nice tropical island with all these thick, warm fur coats."
Just then, a speedboat bumped into the side of the ship. That bump was followed by bangs of several cable launchers. Next moment, a boat-full of modern day pirates climbed aboard, threatening the crew members with knives and guns.
"Yarrr! Pirates larboard!" captain McCallister roared.
"I know, captain, they're already aboard", the helmsman said.
"Yarrr, I'm just not just as quick as I was at the old days", McCallister said downheartedly.
"Okay! Nobody move!" the muscular, tattooed and dark-skinned pirate captain said. "This ship
Aqua-Lisa, chapter 2Chapter 2: Meet Aqua-Lisa
Lisa's night was filled with many weird dreams. She dreamed of sitting on a sandy beach, but then a giant wave came out of nowhere and dragged her down into the depths. She tried to swim to the surface, but the current kept pulling her down. The water darkened as she was dragged deeper and deeper. She couldn't catch a breath, and just when she felt like drowning, she saw her appearance changing before her eyes. She saw how her skin turned light green and became scaly like fish's skin, her fingers sprouted flippers, and her toes lengthened and also sprouted flippers. She opened her mouth and screamed, and discovered that she was able to breathe, as she now also had gills on the sides of her neck.
This scream woke Lisa up with a start. She sprung up, and within a second, she found herself sitting on her bed. She looked out of the window, and saw that the sun was rising.
"Phew. It was just a dream", Lisa said, and swept sweat off
Aqua-Lisa, chapter 1Chapter 1: The Visit at Frink's
This is the town of Springfield, somewhere around the United States of America. This is 742 Evergreen Terrace, home of the Simpson family, formed by Homer Jay, Marjorie "Marge", Bartholomew Jo-Jo, Lisa Marie, and Margaret "Maggie" Simpson. Many wild things have happened around this family, but none of them has reached supernaturally high proportions.
That is, until this fateful summer day, which would change the life of the whole family, but especially Lisa Simpson's life.
It all started when Bart had been caught red-handed putting police-insulting graffiti on a wall and was taken to Springfield's police station. Homer and Marge (along with Maggie) went to the police station to get their son out there, while Lisa was left at Professor Frink's laboratory to be taken care of until they came back (this was due to the fact that the only other option would have been leaving her at her Aunt Patty and Selma's, which she had declined).
The Fantastic Five, chapter 5Chapter 5: Breaking the Unbreakable
With our superpowers, taking down the army of battle suits didn't take longer than a quarter of an hour, when all suits were lying in pieces around the square. After I had sent the last suit smashing against the base of Jebediah Springfield's statue, we all gathered together to look at the League of Ultimate Evil, who were still hovering over the square. Although they were about twenty feet up in the air, we could see that their faces looked thunderstruck. They clearly hadn't waited for a defeat, at least not one this fast.
"See?" I called calmly. "We told you no evil would get past us. Now would you come down nicely so we can put you in jail?"
For a moment, their faces didn't change. Then suddenly, Sideshow Bob grabbed Dr. Colossus from his collar, pulled his face in front of his own, and shook him.
"You said that those suits couldn't lose!" he yelled angrily at Colossus's face. "You said our victory was certain!"
As Colossus starte
The Fantastic Five, chapter 4Chapter 4: The League of Ultimate Evil
As I went to bed, my head was full of thoughts. Although The Fantastic Five had to return home at some point, we could join our forces as long as they stayed here.
My dreams were filled with images of the Super-Simpsons fighting for justice alongside The Fantastic Five. I saw masses of villains, thieves, robbers, corrupted lawyers and other lawbreakers running away from us, but eventually being caught, beaten up and put into prison by us.
"There's no evil in any world that would be match for ten of us", I said to my mother in my dream, looking gladly at a prison full of criminals we had caught.
"Sure there isn't, honey", mom said, standing besides me.
"We should come up with a team name for ourselves!" Bart said.
"You're right!" I said. "What would you think of...?"
But then suddenly, I heard a voice that echoed within my head.
"The Superheroes of Springfield", the low voice echoed. "Your time has come to an end. Come to the Town
The Fantastic Five, chapter 3Chapter 3: The Birthstory of The Fantastic Five
We went back to our house, locked the doors and closed the curtains, so no one could see in. Then we gathered into the kitchen, and my family started telling our stories how we had become superheroes, starting with Bart and me getting into an X-ray accident, followed by Maggie absorbing parts of our powers thanks to Professor Frink, then dad becoming the Pie Man, and finally, mom becoming The Entangler in our last big adventure at the Springfield Nuclear Power Plant.
"So, that's it", I said after mom had finished her story. "Now, can we hear your stories?"
"Actually, they all come in one", Margerine said. "We all became superheroes in the same place at the same time."
"What happened?" Bart asked.
Margerine took a deep breath and started telling.
"It all started about a year ago", she said. "We were all having a trip at the Grand Canyon, when we were surprised and kidnapped by a group of crazy, but intelligent scientists,
The Fantastic Five, chapter 2Chapter 2: The Heroes' Ambush
And as if that night's events weren't enough, on the following days, we encountered more and more already solved crimes, where the ones catching the criminals had always left the big sign of number five somewhere nearby, and the criminals themselves were unable to tell us anything what had happened. And always they had been taken out in the same way: some were pummeled to half-death, others were slashed badly, some had become blind and were hearing non-existing music, some were caught in some kind of web and some looked as thought they had been petrified.
This mystery started to become an obsession for me. I could spend long times in my room, just walking around and thinking about what could we do to find out more of those mysterious crime solvers.
One thing I had already realized: whoever was doing this, must have superpowers, because no ordinary human could do it, that was clear.
Then I came up with a plan to catch those mysterious attac
“So... can I get you something to eat? I don't like to brag but I have an 'in' with the owner.”
Luke tucked his wallet back into his jean pocket with a smile. I don't think he had yet to pick up on the fact that 1) I didn't care, 2) I wanted to go home and 3) I was still planning on reporting him to the No Hate Alliance.
“Oh come on Maya,” Luke said again, leaving over the table for a moment. “I just told you some major news. Aren't you going to say anything?”
“I told you. We're not going to have some kumbaya moment just because we both come from cross-species families.” I shook my head. “I want to go home, Luke. I promised Ronan was going to meet me at the park and I didn't show up. He's going to wonder where I am.”
“I saw him.”
“As I was... escorting you from the park,” Luke went on. “I

“Happy Birthday to you!” everyone cried, and a birthday cake was set down in front of eighteen-year-old Tonya Grant. She blew out the candles, the cake was taken away to be cut, and her mother placed a plain paper bag before her.
“There it is!” Tonya squeaked, opening up the bag and drawing out a glass vial.
“Happy Legal-to-use-Fox-Serum day!” smiled her father.
From behind the circle of teens, her friend Miriam yelled, “What kind of animal is it for, Tonya?” Miriam, with her auburn hair, was often mistaken as being Tonya's sister. Tonya and her mother Lisa had a very similar shade, albeit with greenish eyes instead of Miriam's hazel.
“Lion, I hope?” Tonya twisted the vial in her hands to see the sticker, which read “Lion Transformation Serum: caution, not for users under age eighteen”.
It was just what she wanted! She began to laugh, al

Caroline was not too happy to hear that she was on her own this weekend. Spending time with her friends Lexi and Gena had become customary on their free weekends. They would get together specifically to use different transformation serums from the Potion Place, a small store that specialized in them. Now that Gena, a scientist, had gotten together with Mr. Wintergreen, the owner of the shop, they had been coming up with all kinds of extraordi

“Hey, honey, look at these!”
Gary turned away from the display of vintage postcards he’d been admiring and sought out his wife. A flash of red hair led him in the right direction, and he found her two stalls over. She was holding up what looked like a shallow cloth bag, perhaps three inches across and no more than that deep.
“It’s a bag, Leona. So?”
Leona put her hand into it, and pulled out her purse. It was the sort of purse that you could store phone-books in, and Gary was convinced that it was lead-lined due to the weight. The neck of the bag stretched a little as the purse emerged from it, then snapped back to its original size.
“They’re selling bags of holding? Real ones? How much?”
The cheerful woman behind the table named a price that made Gary hesitate, it was their entire flea-market budget for the whole day. Leona saw that look, and got an impish one of her own.
“Everything alright, Mr. Walters?”
“Oh yeah... she's fine. Just fainted in the park.”
“Are you sure? She looks so pale...”
Chuckling rung over my head. “I'm afraid that's just her color.” Another laugh. “Don't worry, she'll come to soon.”
“And you said she fainted in the park?”
“Oh man... the poor thing. Is she not used to seeing giants?”
“She's more used to it than many.”
I blinked several times as the voices continued to talk over my head. I didn't recognize the one at all... but the other one... the male.
“I'll make a fresh batch of coffee for when she wakes up,” the female said again.
“That would be great, Viv. She's probably going to need it.”
The woman giggled. “You're such a gentleman, Mr. Walters.”
“How many times do I have to tell you to call me Luke?&
“Thanks for coming over, Marty. You’re a life-saver. As always.”
“No worries, Nancy. I’m always glad to help my prettiest neighbour.”
“Bah. Now that I’m thirty, I don’t get those looks any more.”
Marty shook his head, it was an old argument. He looked around Nancy’s bare apartment. “Where is everything?” Instead of the furniture that was usually in her living room, all he could see was a set of four silver poles arranged in a large square about where the couch used to be.
Nancy gestured toward a small pile of white cubes next to one of the poles. “There. I need your hand bringing more boxes over to the cargo converter. We’ll need to move it later to do the bed, but it’s fiddly to align just right.”
“Okay.” Marty looked into the kitchen, saw several boxes there, and brought one out.
Thursday night. I guess I shouldn't have been surprised that Ronan basically ignored me for the past few days – save for someone pulling the fire alarm, I wasn't able to get within ten giant sized feet of him. He would look at me – smile and be curt and polite... but that was it. I knew I had blown it. I guessed my dad was right. If crushes were easy, they would be called something else.
Isabelle frowned as we stood right in front of my house after another school day.
“I can't believe you're actually going to let that prick get away with it,” she grumbled. “Why don't you just tell your dad what happened? I bet he can get you out of Saturday detention.”
“I'm not tattling anymore,” I muttered. “It's not a big deal. It's five hours.”
“But that sub...” Isabelle said softly. “What he said... it wasn't right.”
“I didn't se
My father was on the phone when I got back to the house. I had taken the long way home, but I knew my dad was working early hours today so he would be waiting. He was frowning.
“Saturday detention?” he asked when he saw me walk through the door. His eyes widened as the person on the other side of the conversation continued to speak. “That doesn't sound like her at all. Are you sure?” He turned his back. “That really doesn't sound like Maya. I'll have a word with her. Yes... I understand that it's non-negotiable. She's not a troublemaker. I'm sure there's a good explanation for this.” He shifted his feet. “Yes... I know. I understand that. I'm sure it wasn't anything personal. I am her father after all.” He paused. “Hmm? Yes... that's true. I took custody after her mother passed. Human.”

"Morning Yuka, did you sleep okay?" the nurse said as she brought my breakfast and checked up on my vitals. I only nodded weakly. Talking had gotten straining and I didn't feel like chatting anyway. I could glimpse her face looking sad at seeing me this way.
"Hey," she said putting a hand to my shoulder, "I know this isn't easy to deal with but we will do everything we can to make life comfortable for you. You only have to ask."
I didn't have anything to say. I was dying and she couldn't help that, nobody could.
"Oh yes, you have a visitor scheduled today," she said obviously to try and change the subject.
This got my attention as I turned back around. My
